1 day sale Who doesn’t love a bargain?  We all do and especially this year when we are all trying to make our dollars stretch that little bit further, it’s great to find a place where you know you are getting a good deal.

Well I have found this really cool site called 1 day sale where everyday you get an email telling you what the special for the day is and you do have to be in quick as it really is for one day only

These really are good deals, for example today’s special is Sarah Jessica Parker Perfume TODAY ONLY $34.99 normally $79.95 saving $44.00.

1 day sale 8 piece container

Also today only an 8 piece container set $15.99 normally $33.99 saving $17.00.  Everyday there is a different products on special and it is a huge range.  There has been sleeping bags, all sorts of clothing, mens’ boxer underpants, Canterbury shirts, a 12Inch LCD TV, oh and one of my favourites was the Leapfrog Tag Reading system.

So the list is endless and you never know what you are going to get each day, the discounts are huge.  With Xmas coming up it’s well worth keeping your eye out for a great gift idea, at a fraction of the normal cost.

The Catalogue you should see

Ezibuy cape cod chair.jpg kids It may seem silly to you but I always find it exciting at this time of the year when the Ezibuy Catalogue arrives in the mail.  For two reasons really, one being that it signals the start of warmer weather with all the beach and Summer things in it and two there is always that smattering of Xmas gifts, to gently remind you that we are getting closer to the guy with the big white beard paying us all a visit sometime soon.

You see Xmas is my most favourite time of the year, it’s the worlds biggest excuse to shop and shop I do.  This year it’s going to be about being organised, starting early to make the most of the good deals, which therefore means not buying presents at the last minute and hopefully this leads to spending less.  I’m going to run with that theory and am starting now.

So flicking through the Ezibuy Catalogue there are some really cool gift ideas:

I just love the kids ‘Cape Cod’ chairs for $79.95

Ezibuy cape cod chair There is the adult version of the ‘Cape Cod’ Chair as well for $139.95 which is a very good price, given I paid double that for the ones I bought.

The beach towels are really great gifts also at $29.95, the oversized Bean Bags and the beach beds look like a good idea.

But my favourite would have to be the Flip Flop Duvets for the beach house, the girls would love them.

ezibuy flip flop duvet There is 24 pages of a Christmas Preview, just to really get you in the mood for the up coming silly season.

So keep an eye out for the catalogue, not to mention my Xmas List and if you haven’t done so already get your pen and paper out and have a think on who you have to buy for.  This is the year to be organised and make good buying decisions, I’ve discovered it reduces my end of year stress drastically and helps the bank balance as well.

PMT Manager

★★★★☆
Bugger didn’t mean to get so grumpy, goodness where did that come from as I look around to see my children standing still waiting for me to finish my moment.  Which is then usually followed by, who was that yelling just before, oh really was that me?

It may not happen to some of you and it may never happen at all but if and when it does look the heck out, because you can go from a very normal functioning adult to a complete nutter in a matter of seconds.  PMT is a nightmare and depending on how bad you suffer from it, you can come to dread certain times of the month.

The worst part about it, we don’t see it coming, most of the time we haven’t even registered that there may even be an explosion on it’s way, so how on earth can we deal with when it comes completely out of the blue.  Even worst still there isn’t even any chance for the poor kids to duck for cover either, which has resulted in my nine year old little treasure sticking a CHILL OUT MUMMY sticker on the steering wheel of my car.  Very Funny and very necessary, there’s nothing like a reality check from a nine year old to really make you take stock.

If I told you that I has found something that can just about take most of those monthly moods away and most of the symptoms associated with PMT would you be happy?  I am, because firstly it’s all natural and very good for you and secondly I can be normal again.  Well the second bit is defiantly a matter of opinion, so lets not go there.

But seriously I take PMT Manager everyday and it is life changing, so much so that I am scared not to take it.  The best part about it, unlike other PMT products where you have to swallow about 6 capsules, which just about makes me gag you only need one capsule a day.  Easy as that as it is designed to help regulate and promote hormonal balance.  Yay

PMT Manager is full of lots of goodies too with Vit B6, ST Johns Wart, Chromium, Chaste Tree to mention a few, you can still take your normal vitamins as well as this wont interfere with them according to the experts at the Health Shop. You can also add some of their other products in this range as well which may help.  It contains no wheat, gluten, yeast, milk, artificial flavours or preservatives.

At $25.30 for a bottle it may seem alot, but to me it’s a small price to pay to keep my sanity.  I have tried many other products and this is defiantly the best, it is also used by a number of my girlfriends with great success as well.

Price:$25.30 (for 30 capsules)                             Available: At all Health food stores

eclipse cinnamon mints

★★★★☆
This will probably be one of the cheapest products I will ever blog, but quite possibly one of my favourites.  Quite a few years ago (wont tell you how many as it reminds me how fast time has gone by) I went on a trip to the US to meet my partner at the time, who I went onto marry.  I had the most fantastic holiday and loved trying all the different things you could buy in the States.

If you have ever been to one of their Supermarkets you will know what I mean, the cereal isle alone is almost as much fun to visit as going to a movie and as amusing.  I mean have you ever seen so much choice it kept me entertained for ages.

So whilst hanging out with some of our American friends I got to try what’s called Big Red Gum, apparently it’s famous in the States and everyone knows what Big Red Gum is, it appears you either love it or hate.  Guess which one I was?

Well you can’t buy it New Zealand and even though I bought some home it ran out very quickly, I have only managed to find it at one diary that stocked it since my trip, so imagine my excitement when a friend told me about Eclipse Cinnamon Sugar free mints.  They taste exactly the same.

The best part about them is they are Sugar Free and given that they are mints not chewing gum they don’t loose their flavour after five minutes, bonus.

So if you have ever had Big Red this is your lucky day, or if you think this sounds like you might like the taste, give them a go I did and keep a packet with all the time.

eclipse mints 2 I have since gone onto try other Eclipse Mints in their range and really love them as well, they are extremely easy to transport around in your handbag and are in a good container which closes tightly so it wont come open.  You also get 50 mints in one container so they last for quite a while.

Oh and by the way they freshen your breath, funny that bit never occurred to me, I only bought them because they taste good and every time I have one I get this nice feeling of good memoires of my trip.
